Description: The Hudson River Museum in Yonkers is seeking a full-time Manager of the Museum’s Junior Docent Program. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Museum’s youth programs and operates primarily on a Wednesday through Sunday work week. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities: • Establishing training goals and lessons for Museum Junior Docents

• Recruiting students from Yonkers Public High Schools

• Coordinating and presenting weekly on-site training activities and occasional off-site programs

• Providing college and career readiness training and mentorship

• Ensuring quality delivery of the Family Studio series to the Museum’s audience on weekends

• Developing and overseeing the Museum’s Summer Camp programs

• Providing supervision for most major events involving the Junior Docents

• Engaging alumni of the Junior Docent program

• Collaborating with other Museum departments to file funding reports, evaluate programming, and produce narratives for funding applications

• Managing Youth Program budget
