Labeling Development and Graphics Specialist, Location: Fremont, CA, Salary Range: $35 to $40/hour, Position: Engineer

Description: The Labeling Development and Graphics Specialist will be developing labels in the Prisym Medica labeling software and drafting 3D solid models of packaging components and accessories.

 Will work closely with Packaging and Labeling engineers to design and develop labels (either directly in Prisym Medica or in Adobe Illustrator) and translating the design elements into Prisym Medica data tables and label formats.

 Adhere to style guides, labeling procedures and be familiar with database structure and macros scripting.

 Will be well-versed in 3D modeling in SolidWorks and will be editing or drafting Packaging components and accessories.

 Will understand the drawing submission and approval process and the use of CAD vaults and servers to check-in/check-out drawings.

 Requirements: BS degree in engineering or related field. Experience in label approval processes is highly desired. Experience with ANSI Y14.5 is a plus. Must be able to manage a high and varied workload from internal clients and be comfortable working to tight time lines. 2+ yrs of Prisym Medica labeling software required. 5+ yrs of Adobe Illustrators required. 5+ yrs of SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software) preferred. 2+ yrs of Autoproof ScanCompare 5+ yrs of experience in an FDA regulated environment Knowledge of drawing, label approval process Experience with Microsoft Products Experience with Job Status Tracking
