Live-in caregiver for children

Job Description:
• Supervise and care for children
• Bathe, dress and feed children
• Prepare children for rest periods
• Help children with homework
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Read to children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary school
Experience: At least a year of full-time experience as a caregiver is required
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Children's ages: 6 and 10 year old
Work setting: Private home
Work location information: Private accommodation will be provided in the private home of employer during the duration of employment. Amount charged for room and board $ 85/week.
Salary: $11.00 per Hour, 42.5 hours/week. Position requires flexibility in scheduling- occasional evenings may be needed
