We’re looking for talented, forward-thinking page designers and wordsmiths to build and copy edit daily news, sports and features content for the Amarillo Globe-News, a Morris Communications newspaper in the Texas Panhandle. Our ideal candidate is a skilled layout artist who writes creative headlines, knows AP style and values being part of a close-knit team. This out-of-the-box thinker must be proficient in Adobe InDesign or Quark XPress and have exemplary spelling, grammar and punctuation skills. A bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience is preferred, but we will consider promising recent graduates. Experience publishing Web and/or iPad editions is a plus. This full-time position offers a rewarding work environment and management that cares about your personal and professional growth.
