Sales Executive - Clearing & Forwarding

Job Summary: Secure new business based on current profile and verticals as set out by the company.

Maintain and grow existing business according to set verticals and target regions.

Network with other offices to maximize new opportunities.

Follow up on sales leads.

Generate sales leads for other offices within the group.

Negotiate rates with external suppliers.

Job Function: Ability to reach set sales and commercial targets within given time frames by securing new and extension business for the group as well as managing verticals as required.

Ability to manage, align, monitor and report on performance at all levels within the business, while identifying and taking appropriate action in order to secure the achievement of objectives.

Ability to exchange information and ideas in a clear and concise manner ensuring understanding and appropriate responses.

Ability to apply commercial focused project management principles in developing and implementing best practice solutions.

Ability to develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through demonstrating an understanding and responsiveness to their needs, culture and differences.
