Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic (Must have Welding experience)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification, Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Area of Specialization: Electrical and electronic systems, Brake systems, Hydraulic systems, Drive train components, Collision repair, Frame straightening, Fibreglass repair, Welding, Truck-trailer repair
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, Perform scheduled maintenance service, Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect and test mechanical units, Diagnose faults and malfunctions, Repair and replace mechanical units, Test and adjust units to specifications
Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor, Complete reports to record problems and work performed, Estimate parts and labour costs, Customer service skills, Coach and instruct apprentices
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
