Job description
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will provide direction and leadership to a highly skilled professional staff in order to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. In this leadership role, you will maintain the highest levels of confidence in both the workers’ compensation and occupational health & safety obligations of WorkSafeBC through building trust and preserving an accountable and client-focused culture.
Desired Skills and Experience
You are a skilled senior executive with a reputation for responsiveness and confidence in managing productive relationships, particularly within a broad range of diverse viewpoints. You have a relevant university degree (post graduate preferred), demonstrated financial acumen, and 15+ years of senior management experience in a large organization with a complex mandate. You are an accomplished public speaker and are comfortable in a high profile role. Through your inclusive leadership approach, you inspire high standards from your team as they provide services to British Columbians.
