Special Care Facility Attendant
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift
Salary: $12.70 to $14.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Vision Care Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Continuing care assistant certification
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Home for the aged
Specific Skills: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Lift, turn or massage patients, Bathe, dress and groom patients
Additional Skills: Serve meal trays and feed patients, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous learning
Other Information:Wage based on Education & Experience. Night Premium $1.50/hr. Performance review after first six months may result in a merit increase. Annual cost of living increase based on company performance
