Job Summary: Head: Procurement and Supply Chain leads a matrix team responsible for sustained product supply, quality and compliance from Contract Manufacturing Organizations (APIs, bulk drug product, finished goods packaging) and Contract Laboratories (analytical testing, stability testing, retain management). Incumbent is accountable for delivering results to meet the needs of the Commercial business while maximizing gross margin, inventory turns, achieving on-time in full deliveries against master production plans, line item fill rate metrics and meeting or exceeding quality index metrics.

Scope of Authority:, Lead in-direct staff to include Technical Services, Analytical Services, Supply Chain Management, Budget planning and managing Operational Expense budget, Accountability,

Product Supply: Proactively manage the sustained product supply, quality and compliance from CMOs through a rigorous adherence to an S&OP process. Ensure on-time, in full performance against monthly master production plans while meeting all aspects of the master supply and license agreement

Quality: Partner with Quality and Regulatory matrix team members to lead, facilitate, coordinate the Change Control program, CAPA program, and ensure timely execution of Manufacturing or Laboratory investigation

Process: Lead virtual site routines as defined by the CMO Segmentation process. Lead the ESOT-CMO Operations meetings lead the internal External Supply Operations Team meetings. Document and communicate the Meeting Minutes (key information shared, key decisions made, critical action items due). Lead, facilitate and coordinate to complete the Change Control process

Finance: Working with VP, Supply Operations and Director, Strategic Sourcing participle in the budget planning process. Assist in managing the operations budget. Identify and implement process/cost improvement programs at CMOs, Capacity Management, Define, identify, understand unit operations capacity/capabilities at CMOs, People Management, Lead indirect reports, providing career advice, counseling, coaching and support to understand career goals. Develop and manage performance objectives to achieve personal and team results

Qualifications: Education & Experience, Bachelor of Science Degree. MBA or advanced degree is preferred, Minimum 10 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or supply chain management. Strong candidates will have at least 5 years in a leadership type (matrix lead) position, Superior knowledge of finished goods packaging, drug product and active pharmaceutical ingredient processes and technology, 5+ years experience in contract manufacturing operations

Knowledge: Ability to operate in a lean organization, display leadership in managing reliable, sustainable, cost effective partnership to realize the Endo’s performance goals and objectives. Knowledge of financial operations in a pharmaceutical production environment. Manufacturing experience (pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred). Strong understanding of Board of Health regulations and guidelines (FDA, EMEA, ANVISA, IMB, MHLW). Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
