Leading Brand Sales Representative (FMCG/Logistics) - JHB

Great opportunity exists within a dynamic, forward thinking FMCG/Logistics business for a positive, down-to-earth, energetic candidate with sound values & a passion for sales. To optimise sales of selected brands in specific. To be Field based with office facilities at H/Q in Fourways.

Duties:- Selling various leading FMCG brands & generating Sales Plan. Present a monthly sales plan detailing how targets will be met. New customer generation:- Identify new customers within selected channels, prioritise and sell in.

Customer service and sales:- Optimise sales per customer, Ensure effective and efficient sales support, Ensure all suitable products are stocked by each customer, Manage an effective call cycle, Promote deals, specials and activations, Search for free advertising & marketing opportunities, Ensure all specials are communicated to all stores properly, Educate managers about product unique selling points, new products and best practice, Ensure stock rotation is being correctly managed by the customer, Optimise shelf space, Organise cross merchandising opportunities where possible, Maximise shelf space, Ensure stock is looking neat and attractive, Build relationships, Always be kind and friendly and go the EXTRA mile for them, Listen to the customer – find out if there are any complaints, Develop good relationships with managers and staff, Brand awareness, Brand values must be demonstrated at all times. Convert everyone possible into a brand ambassador

Weekly reports:- Sales by customer by brand, Customers visited each day and total sales, Competitor analysis, Challenges and opportunities encountered, Monthly Reports, Sales by customer by brand, Highlighting reasons why certain customers have not ordered, Brief market feedback as to challenges and opportunities encountered

Essential Qualifications / Skills: Ability to sell ice to Eskimos, English fluency level 10, Afrikaans fluency level 8, Computer literacy MS Suite, 2 years / more sales experience, Drivers license code 10 & own reliable vehicle, Email CV + recent picture of yourself, Posted By Janine, Salary Neg., Location Johannesburg
