Account Manager / Lifestyle Publicist

The Mint Partners is one of Australia's leading lifestyle communications agencies working on the best brands in the travel, property, food, beverage, travel, fashion, beauty and major event space.

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager who loves the media and publicity game with a passion to join their team of motivated and creative professionals.

This is a key role for the agency. The lucky candidate will work across the hottest brands in the travel, hospitality, and fashion and events space.

It is important that the candidate has a true passion for the media, has excellent contacts within the Australian media and loves nothing more than to pitch a good story and receive fantastic results. Other skills in evening and social media content management will be seen as an added bonus.

As the right candidate: You have a University Degree in Communications or a closely related field and 4 years of agency or in-house PR experience

You will be passionate and have a deep understanding / insider knowledge across a number of lifestyle sectors including food, wine, travel, fashion, beauty, hospitality and major events and be willing to adapt to a variety of sectors

- You will show an abundance of initiative and enthusiasm for all tasks and not rest until they are finished. You will not rest until a story is placed and you smash results and KPIs for clients

You are a creative thinker, great with coming up with an angle that will sell

You are a great team player and enjoy a fast paced, fun working environment

You are a communication extraordinaire – in the office, on the phone and in social situations

You have a strong key influencer network in relevant fields

You have an understanding and passion for the online and traditional PR space and are able to put together a content calendar for social media if need be

You will be working with a dynamic team where a sense of humor and responsibility is paramount!

The agency has achieved strong growth in recent years and career growth and regular team training is an important part of agency life

The agency also values work life balance organizing regular yoga and meditation classes for staff and 'summer Fridays' (4pm departure) from December - January.
