The StandBy Response Service is one of Australia's leading suicide postvention programs dedicated to assisting people and communities who have been affected by suicide in Alice Springs, remote Central Australian communities and Tennant Creek. The StandBy Coordinator co-ordinates and trains its own response team and works with families, friends and community in responding to bereavement due to suicide. The role also includes community training, workshop facilitation and other community development initiatives.

As a specialist non-clinical mental health service we pride ourselves on innovation and providing sound organisational support and guidance for staff and participants.  As such it is a great organisation to work for. The position is based in Alice Springs.

Possession of a tertiary qualification and/or experience working in a similar field are required. Ability to manage community projects, including training, workshops, community promotion would be a definite advantage.
