Barwon AOD Program Coordinator – Geelong, Employer: Stepping up Consortium, Work Type/s: Full Time, Classification/s: Alcohol & Other Drugs, Health Care & Promotion, Management, Social Work, Sector/s: Not for Profit (NFP), Location: Regional VIC, Be part of delivering new and dynamic drug and alcohol programs in Geelong. The AOD Program Coordinator oversees and ensures integrated planning and service provision within the Barwon catchment, ensuring a consistent response across Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Treatment Services, and links to other related sectors for clients and their families. The AOD Program Coordinator will also maintain a reduced case load and provide clinical counselling interventions, case management, and continuing care to individuals and family members as required.

The AOD Program Coordinator is responsible for monitoring service performance against catchment targets and identifying opportunities to develop improved responses to community needs. The role also plays a key role in the development and maintenance of effective stakeholder relationships and oversees the management and coordination of all team members within the catchment to deliver efficient and effective AOD services, including the integration of the Day Treatment Program into the broader AOD services.
