We are ready to grow our Residential Solar program. Are you ready to join us: The Yarra Energy Foundation is a not for profit organisation established by the City of Yarra to enable the local community to build a zero carbon future together. We exist to work with local residents and businesses throughout the City of Yarra to design and deliver programs that make a real difference.

We are looking for a person to work with us to co-ordinate and implement a solar program for the homes of Yarra. You are a passionate solar advocate and project manager who can identify the needs of diverse audiences, design innovative and tailored solutions, and engage our community where they are.

This position will identify key target areas, work with our solar partners, and support residents in Yarra to access low carbon energy solutions, retrofits, renewable energy and be part of a community wide movement.

To succeed in the role you will need to be able to: Identify potential target demographics and work with YEF team, and key stakeholders to design and deliver tailored solutions; Engage key partners, including Council, energy, and solar providers to deliver projects; Work with community groups and partners to design tailored programs and support made-to-measure projects through decision making processes, to implementation and celebration; Remain engaged and informed on progress of projects and communicate to key stakeholders regularly. Recruit and manage interns and volunteers. Utilise online and real-time tools to generate community engagement and tell Yarra stories.
