SuperFriend is a national mental health promotion foundation that helps ‘all profit to member’ superannuation funds promote and support improved mental health and wellbeing for their members, through the workplace.

SuperFriend works across the full spectrum of mental health; from severe mental illness, suicide and poor mental health/languishing to positive mental health and flourishing. However, they are not service or treatment providers. Instead, their work primarily focuses ‘upstream’ on preventative and early intervention mental health promotion initiatives that educate people to enable better health choices.

‘All profit to member’ superannuation funds that Partner with SuperFriend in the program, and their group insurers, play a pivotal role in helping to promote the SuperFriend initiatives to their members, employers and their own staff. SuperFriend’s role is to act as the conduit between Program Partners (funds and group insurers that participate in the SuperFriend program) and the mental health sector (service providers, information providers, researchers, peak bodies etc).

The Relationship Manager is responsible for driving the growth, development and management of highly collaborative and strategic relationships with SuperFriend’s Program Partners to create opportunities for the delivery of workplace mental health and wellbeing programs. The role is also accountable for working with the Program Delivery and Marketing & Communications functions to promote and drive the take-up of SuperFriend’s workplace mental health and wellbeing programs.  In this role, you will represent the Foundation at industry events and conferences and regular interstate travel will be required.

To succeed you should be a proven business development professional with an excellent track record of strengthening existing relationships and the systems to support them.  This role provides an excellent opportunity to move into the ‘for purpose’ sector and make a difference in the area of workplace mental health and wellbeing. Prior finance industry relationship management experience will be an advantage.
