We have a full-time position available at Passages Resource Centre for a Youth Worker at our Northbridge service.

Passages Resource Centre provides information, support and referrals to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The Youth Worker will work with young people assisting them to access resources and appropriate referrals. The successful applicant will be able to work within empowerment, community development and harm reduction models and will possess experience working with marginalised and at risk youth. A relevant tertiary qualification OR equivalent experience is essential.

Passages is committed to working with the Youth Work Code of Ethics and is seeking staff who are able to demonstrate a capacity to apply this to their day to day practice.

The majority of the work will be spent at our Northbridge Centre, but there will also be some shifts at our Centre in Mandurah to cover staff leave – this is shared with others on the Northbridge team.
