They are currently looking for an Experienced Telecom Field Service Technician (IP). This is a permanent position. Calgary & Sur rounding Area

Summary: The successful candidate who has a secondary school as well as a trade diploma, has certifications on one or more of the following platforms; Avaya IP Office, Nortel Norstar, BCM, CS1K, Shoretel, Panasonic and other similar products. Telco knowledge of PRI, SIP and MPLS would be of benefit, and strong computer skills with VPN, LAN, and WAN are also required.

Job Description: Job duties would include but are not limited to, installing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of telecommunication equipment for Customers. The candidate will diagnose and repair faults in IP based systems, Voiceover IP and soft phones.

Excellent customer service skills are essential for this position as well as strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The role requires an analytical person who also has excellent trouble shooting, and strong organization skills.

This is a permanent, full time position that may require overtime hours and will also require some on-call duties. A valid Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract is mandatory.
