Native Title Services Victoria (“NTSV”) provides professional services to native title claimant groups across Victoria and has a position available for a:
RESEARCH MANAGER
NTSV is seeking an experienced operator who can work comfortably in a not-for-profit environment with professionally qualified staff and has expertise in one or more of the following areas: native title, anthropology, history, project management, Indigenous Australian studies, genealogy.
This is an important and strategic role within the organisation. This role also provides project management functions for all research projects; both on current and speculative native title matters. This position fulfills a primary line management function for two staff as well as a secondary management function for all of our professional research personnel, seven staff.
The Research Manager is a member of the Management team at NTSV and is involved in strategic and operational planning for the organisation.
This is a full time (or part time at 0.8FTE) permanent position, subject to satisfactory completion of the probationary period, in our North Melbourne office, with salary commencing at $99,809. The Research Manager position will have a start date in July 2014.
