The Child Migrants Trust is a professional Social Work Agency based in Australia and the UK. Working collaboratively with the Business Manager and reporting to the Office Manager, this post will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the Family Restoration Fund and providing high quality front line customer service and support to the Office Manager.
We will consider flexible working/school hours for the right candidate
Main Responsibilities:
    FRF administration including:
        Liaising with clients regarding FRF applications;
        Management of client files;
        Management of the Travel Planner;
        Management of the CMT FRF email account in consultation with the Office Manager;
    Support the Office Manager in client reception, answering the phone and other duties as required
    Provide administrative support to the Office Manager when required including:
        Assist in the maintenance of the office environment;
        Assist in the co-ordination of printed materials for the displays at CMT Melbourne;
        Assist with the appropriate storage of photographs and ensuring appropriate Agency staff receive copies of incoming post where required;
    In conjunction with the Office Manager, provide support to the Social Work team
    Ad hoc project work at the direction of the Office Manager.
Selection criteria:
    Demonstrates an understanding and commitment of working to principles of privacy and confidentiality;
    Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with multi-disciplinary teams, including relating effectively to vulnerable people in a client service context;
    Extensive experience and skills in using the Microsoft Office suite; with good Excel skills an being an advantage;
    Demonstrated ability to work independently and also contribute positively as a team member;
    High level skills in accurate data entry, maintenance of records, analysis skills and attention to detail;
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    High standards of discretion and ability to handle difficult situations with tact, sensitivity and flexibility
    A demonstrated commitment to working in a  social justice setting with resilience, energy, enthusiasm and a client focused approach would be a distinct advantage
    Drivers licence.
The successful applicant will be required to provide police clearance, and sign a confidentiality agreement and the agency’s code of conduct.
