Purpose of the Job: Our client is a large privately-owned metal recycling company with its headquarters in Cape Town and operations in the Western Cape and Gauteng. The Group has a position available for an experienced, professional, meticulous and motivated Electrician to work together with the Electrical Team at our plant in Airport Industria. The successful candidate will report to the Electrical Manager

Main Functions: Installing new electrical systems, Maintaining and repairing installed electrical systems, Maintaining service records of electrical equipment, Develop and train new and junior staff members, Liaising with other departmental staff, supervisors and managers, Using APIPRO to plan, track and record tasks, Ensuring that all work will comply with regulations in the OHSA and the company policies and procedures, Procure materials for tasks and projects, Ensure that your understand the 24/7 operational needs and facilitate production goals, Point to point IO checks on PLCs. Participate in the RCM program, Read and use electrical diagrams, Ensure work standards are achieved, Ensure the effective use of resources

Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification, 8 years of working experience, Able to work in a pressurised and demanding environment, Must have your own reliable transport, Must have a valid driver’s license, Good communication skills, Work overtime due to process demands, Ability to manage and coordinate a team, Posted By Execz, Start Date Asap, Salary R 25 000 + CTC, Location Airport Industria Cape Town
