Junior UI/Web Designer, On behalf of our client in the Lower Mainland, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Junior UI/Web Designer to join their team for a 6 month contract with strong possibility of extension.

The Role:  This role is with a major enterprise level client and will give you an opportunity to work on very large mature web sites and complex projects. The client is looking for a driven individual who “can make it work”. Strong communication skills are mandatory as you will be working with clients and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have good understanding of HTML5/CSS3 (you will need to do minimal programming yourself, and use a lot of existing code). Taking direction from clients, you will be in charge of making necessary changes to web pages: composing page layout, manipulate pages, produce promotional banners and pages, etc.

Please note, client would like to see your portfolio before scheduling a face to face interview.

Mandatory Requirements:  1-3 years of Web/UI design experience

Strong understanding and some hands-on coding experience with HTML5/CSS3 is mandatory
