Job Description
My Medical Centre Carseldine is looking for a mature minded, flexible and experienced
Medical Receptionist in a casual/Part-time position up to 20hrs per week
The ideal candidate is honest, reliable and experienced at working in a small team environment.
The role consists of:
- Meeting and delivery of quality service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Support to doctors whilst working as part of a team
- Answering phone calls and booking appointments
- Patient billing, cash collection and receipting
- General administration and software experience (Practsoft) preferred
- Multi tasking, problem solving and time management
- Confidentiality and management of patient records
Key Criteria for this role include:
- Exceptional customer service and delivery of quality service to GPs and patients
- Excellent communication skills – both face-to-face and telephone
- Good understanding of administration, billing processes and software packages
- Multi-tasking, initiative and problem solving skills
- Sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism
- Calm, reliable and flexible team player
