Finance Operations Manager | Tech

Innovative Irish Owned Technology Company based in North Dublin is seeking to hire an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join their executive team and support the finance / operations function.

Reporting directly to the CEO this is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a "hands on" operational role from a finance perspective with a growing company in the technology sector. The successful candidate will have ownership over key functions in finance, sales, supply management and customer relationship management. 

Key Responsibilities:

    Supply chain negotiation & management of the PO process
    Implement cost control processes
    Preparation of annual budget - manage & control expenditure in line with budget
    Timely production of appropriate management & financial information with variance analysis for presentation to executive team
    Management of sales order fulfilment, invoicing and debt collection process
    Management of Payroll process
    Tax & Regulatory returns
    Ownership of key relationships with auditors, financial services providers and other partners
    Participate in the day to day management and provide key finance & management support to the business operations

Key Requirements:

    5+ years similar experience in a Finance / Operations role - IT sector background preferred
    Qualified Accountant - CIMA preferred
    Good negotiation and people management skills
    Experience in dealing with overseas suppliers and customers
    Keen financial acumen with excellent report writing skills and analytical ability
    Knowledge of Sage or similar systems
