Property Maintenance & Projects Supervisor - Retired Builder. Location, City Centre, Cape Town, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time

Private Property Group based in central Cape Town, owning a large Commercial, Industrial and Residential property portfolio, requires a maintenance and project management supervisor.

Duties include: Handling of project planning and management in respect of maintenance and sub-contracted installations. Liaison with our maintenance supervisors. Ordering of materials and where necessary collection and delivery of materials to various sites. Inspection of buildings and reporting on maintenance required. Checking on caretakers assigned to buildings and ensuring that they are doing their work properly. Liaison with tenants and scheduling inspections of premises in order to deal with maintenance reports. Ability to attend to hands on minor maintenance an advantage.

Requirements: The position would ideally suit an applicant who has been a project manager or retired general builder, who would therefore understand the broad spectrum of property maintenance and project planning. A minimum of ten years experience is a prerequisite. A good ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and by email. Drivers licence. Flexible Start Date.
