Retail store supervisor position for large cash and carry in PMB and Durban

A large cash and carry company is looking for store supervisors for their Durban and Pietermaritzburg branches. Contract based position. The applicant will be responsible for: Management of store and staff.  Oversee stock control. Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotions and display plans. Reaching sales targets and increasing profits. Be sales orientated. Plan business on a weekly basis. The applicant must be pro-active, hands on person. Be able to work well under pressure and weekends. Be able to handle all staff and customer related matters. The applicant is required to have at least 3 years experience in the retail industry. Be computer literate, have good written and verbal communication skills. The position offers market related salary.
