Job Description: General Manager of Bid Writing, Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Profile: Roles and Responsibilities 1. Bid Support, Write effective responses to RFP (Request For Proposal) questions for both global and individual bids, Ensure all the requirements of the RFPs are adhered to in the responses, Coordinate with different departments and operational units and gather inputs for responses, Engage in strategy meetings at the start of the bid process with the head of BD and other stakeholders to agree on overall strategy and approach to the bid, Proof read the responses and ensure the content is well crafted and professionally laid out without any errors in grammar or style, Use appropriate design elements, Ensure all the bid documents are ready for submission within decided timelines

2.Ensure continuous improvement in quality of bids with the help of feedback received from stakeholders

3.Create bid proposal documents, standard templates and responses and ensure an archive of the same is available on the shared drive; up to date and with access to the approved stakeholders

4.Reporting: Prepare key reports for Top Management/ executive board, Maintain and update key company stats on a quarterly basis or at a frequency as deemed necessary, Perform analysis of available data as per request from stakeholders

5. Business intelligence and opportunities alert, Provide business intelligence inputs related to competitors, Send out alerts of new business opportunities and industry news – for example – on visas, tourism related news, migration patterns, visa waivers. Research and keep eye out on websites, Google alerts and other media for viable business opportunities, Send alerts on tenders released (opened), new competitors across the globe , industry trends and news related to inbound and outbound numbers of a country

6. Process Improvement: Ensure process improvements in key areas of work, Assist in migration of MIS System to SharePoint, when applicable, Create new standard responses for bids improvising on content like using Visio diagrams, Create and maintain standard set of documents, formats etc. for bids and ensure the Bid Library is up to date and intuitive to navigate

7.Ensure compliance to guidelines in ISO certifications

8.Ensure adherence to all the documentation requirements, SOP and routinely identify sources of error, analyze and mitigate them.

Qualification & Experience (Education, Experience, specific knowledge, skills, understanding, attitude), Education: Minimum: Graduate or global equivalent degree, Additional: Post Graduate or global equivalent degree

Experience: 12 to 15 years of relevant work experience in Business Development with at least 5-6 years of experience in writing formal commercial bids /contracts

Knowledge & Key Skills: Excellent writing and articulation skills, Analytical skills, Understanding of current market scenario and trends, Functional Competencies
