Summary: A specialist position tasked with sole responsibility for migration and installation of Windows Small Business Server to a client base of 200+ organisations.

 

MUST HAVE MIGRATIONS AND INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE ON SBS 2003 / 2008 / 2011.
 
The Role:
My client is recruiting for a Windows Small Business Server Specialist to manage the migration from 2003 / 2008 platforms to the 2011 Server. The successful candidate will have sole responsibility on site and must be able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
 
Key Responsibilities:

    Have the sole responsibility of managing the installation of Windows Small Business Server 2011 into client organisation.
    Have the sole responsibility of migrating from 2003 or 2008 SBS platform to the 2011 platform.
    Trouble-shoot issues relating to Servers, PCs, Laptops and Printers to include Connectivity, Email, Security, Permissions, Backups etc.
    Installation & Configuration of Servers, PCs, Laptops, Routers and Printers
    Ensure excellent customer service is provided to Clients


Requirements:

    Must have demonstrable experience in Installing and / or Migrating to the SBS 2011 platform.
    Experience of Installation & Trouble-shooting of Windows Server 2008/2012 & Windows Small Business Server 2003/2008/2011 and Exchange Server 2007/2010
    Experience of Installation & System Administration of Windows XP/7/8
    Experience of Routers, Firewalls, VPN Set-Up & Configuration
    Experience of Microsoft Office, Printers & Smart Phones
    Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
    Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
    Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution
    Must be team player with strong customer service focus
    Full clean Driving Licence is essential

 
Remuneration:
This is a full time permanent position. A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualification level will be offered to the successful candidate.
