The Company: A National Retail Chain of Outlets / Retail Stores which sells electronic consumer products, Computers, Cell Phones, etc. Requires A Branch Manager for store in Pretoria

Key Performance Areas. Optimising Sales Driving Sales through the Sales Team and a shopping environment which ensures superior customer service and which optimises sales.

Optimsing profitability Ensure store profitability through the daily planning, leading, controlling and organizing of all resources, Ensure profitability by achieving the expected standards on sales and income through the daily management of retail staff productivity within the branch. Ensure optimum trade operating profit is achieved by effectively controlling and managing all store expenses

Staff management Recruit, develop and manage direct reports

Product and stock management. Management, control and optimization of stock to drive sales

Requirements: Education, Matric is essential. Retail Management / Business Diploma advantageous, Computer Literacy in MS Office and Intermediate Excel, Retail Management Experience, A minimum of 5 years Management/Supervisory experience in a retail store, Experience managing at least 15-18 staff reports, Experience working in a branch with at least R35m-R80m turnover per annum ideally in a supervisory or management role, Proven track record of driving sales, Stock and shrinkage management, Knowledge of Merchandising principles and Space Optimization, Planning and implementation of promotional activities – store based and national, Industrial Relations and Employee Relations experience, Relevant Operation, Administration and Financial Management

Product Knowledge: Candidates must have a good knowledge and passion for, consumer electronic products including computer equipment, cell phones, etc.

Sales Experience: Candidates must be SALES driven and be natural traders. Experience early on in the candidate’s career of hard sales, sales repping, or having run one’s own business especially if in computer/ electronic or related industry will therefore be an advantage.
