European Sourcing Lead

Due to impressive growth over the last 6 years our client is adding an experienced buyer / sourcing professional to their supply chain team in their Dublin operation. This group manages supply chain for the European manufacturing group.

Role outline

    Responsible for meeting the targets and deliverables set by the Region Sourcing Manager
    Ensure the supply and quality of goods to the different manufacturing Region
    Manage unit stakeholder relationships and requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities
    Implementation of and participate in regional and category led sourcing initiatives
    Participate in supplier negotiations, selection, contracts, management and compliance based on corporate strategic processes and aligned with category management
    Responsible for strategic supplier relationships.
    Drive Region Supplier Development and Risk Management process
    Manage stakeholder relationships and requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities.
    In charge of sourcing of the defined materials.

Experience / Education Required

    Extensive experience in the areas of sourcing or supply chain management.
    Degree / Masters qualified in the areas of in Business, Engineering, Materials Management or equivalent
    Related spend expertise is an asset.
    Demonstrated experience working on sourcing projects
