Our client is dynamic, growing IT Services Company with offices based in London and Cape Town. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join their team in Cape Town.

Main Purpose of the Job: The incumbent will be responsible for targeting new organisations and bringing in new business. They must be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of selling in the business-to-business arena.

Responsibilities: Generate sales with new clients using professional and consultative sales approach via the telephone, Identify decision makers at target companies and understand their roles and objectives, Ensure that clients understand the benefits of using the company’s services, Determining a client's business requirements and whether the solutions being considered are suitable, Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure implementation of the plan, Research a strong prospect list, Take ownership of your personal sales targets

Requirements: Have an interest in IT Services, Minimum of 2 years’ experience in canvassing IT solutions and services, Experience in a Business Development role, working with a range of corporate companies, Strong networking and organisation skills as well as an understanding of corporate purchasing dynamics are a must, IT industry knowledge is essential, Experience in telesales, Excellent communication skills are essential, An innovative approach to business solutions is required, The candidate is required to prioritise tasks and use their own initiative, Have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contact and sell the benefits of our services
