Fur Farming Worker (Brooks Mink Ranch Ltd.)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day
Salary: $10.50 to $11.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Hassett, Nova Scotia (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Type of Farm Operations: Fur farming
Specific Skills: Feed and tend animals, Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Odours
Essential Skills: Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
Other Information:Minimal English required as job has repetitive tasks. Assembling and minor repair of cages also required.
