Applications are invited for the full time one year fixed term position of Youth and Community Officer.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the development, promotion and implementation of programs, activities and services that reflect the needs of the local community with a youth focus.
Suitable applicants will have knowledge and experience developed in a similar role/s, working with youth and community organisations including knowledge of cultural diversity issues in a rural community.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of individuals and groups are essential.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
