Dubai Vacancy - Senior Structural Engineer

About the Job: A senior structural engineer with at least 15 years of experience on a variety of large scale projects, including extensive design experience, is required for immediate hire for a prestigious design consultancy project in Dubai.

Responsibilities: Oversee structural design for large scale projects. Oversee supervision for large scale projects. Structural design and analysis for reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, and sound understanding of geotechnical principles and foundation design, Working with design codes and industry standards, Supervising and completing technical reviews, detailed design calculations, control drawing and design office activities and risk assessment and analysis. Coordination of structural design information with requirements of other disciplines. Coordination with design consultant representatives, project management, procurement, and construction contractors. Review of method statements and specifications.

Requirements: B.Sc. in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution, Minimum 15 years experience, including experience in design consultancy firms, Knowledge of structural analysis and design software. Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic. This position requires a highly motivated candidate who is able to work on large scale design and supervision projects while working under pressure, has strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
