Job Description
K-12 Sales Account Executive
Vancouver, BC, Canada – Full Time Position
Rycor is looking for a high performance individual who excels at managing the entire sales cycle and has a track record of success in software sales in the K-12 Education and/or Enterprise Software industries.  From lead generation and follow-up, demonstration and negotiation, through to closing, you will be the custodian of the entire sales process.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from lead through contract
• Conducts outbound calling campaigns to generate sales opportunities
• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationship and referrals
• Assists in developing and implementing company sales plans and materials
• Actively manages and monitors CRM system
• Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
• Conducts market research and keeps up-to-date on products, competitors and industry knowledge
• Completes sales reports and presents findings to management
• Attends various trade shows and conferences
• Ability to work remotely from various locations and travel up to 30%
Skills and Experience
• 2-5 years of sales experience in the education and/or software industries
• Client-facing experience in a sales role
• A degree or diploma from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to deliver effective sales presentations in person, on the phone or by webinar
• A high degree of self-motivation, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service
Nice to Have
• Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or related field
• Sales experience in a B2B environment
• Sales experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions
• Knowledge of school budget cycle, procurement process and purchasing stakeholders
• Existing network of relationships with K-12 District decision makers
