Job title: Nursing Manager-Cape Town, Location: Cape Town, Job Purpose: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of quality patient care.

Qualification & Experience: Matric/Grade 12, General Nursing Degree / Diploma, Registration with SANC

Experience in a leadership, management role with clinical facilitation, 2-5 years experience, Duties and Responsibility Provide and supervise nursing care in accordance with legislation, Controls and supervisors patient care and communicates verbally and written with the nursing team, professional team, Dr’s and other medical staff concerned. As well as keeping the specialist updated on the patients when required.

Oversee that all procedural files are updated, daily, weekly and monthly. Assesses and Triages patients daily. Participates in the case management of individual patients to ensure the continuity of care. Maintains compliance with all nursing regulatory agencies, statutes and standards. Conducts excellent nursing care in a manner reflective of the Nursing Council of South Africa. Provides support and communication to the family on the medical conditions and patient's care requirements. Complies with health and safety standards and infection control standards.

Promotes teamwork, good interpersonal relations and communication among staff at the healthcare setting. Participates and serves as a clinical resource for the team of Doctors that run the clinic Exercises appropriate judgment and good decision-making skills.
