Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset

Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Determine weldability of materials, Select filler rods, Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
