Job Details: Responsible for Daily Quality Control & Maintenance of Machines Authorization of reports after cross checking all details In absence of Pathologists, reporting critical/alert values to the clinician. Responsible for smooth flow of activities with in the Lab Act as coordinator between Lab, external agencies, referring clinics. Responsibility for the stock management and consumption to ensure no wastage happens while conducting tests. Attending client queries and complaints. Ensuring that staff runs controls and Calibrating for the analytes Run daily quality control samples. Check if they are ok before running the patient samples. Supervise and execute sample processing in different sections in lab Running of samples on machines and to train the staff. Repeat test detections if indicated by repeat criteria of the test and entering in the repeat register. Processing urgent samples and releasing the reports urgently and entering in the stat register. Supervise the work of the Junior technicians and trainees. Maintaining files and Records Informing the pathologist in case of any problem in the lab, as instrument breakdown or with reagents/kits and coordinate with the service engineer for the repair Checking and authorizing reports and also ensure Pending list is checked and executed in the defined TAT. Entering results are fed in LIS and cross checking with test request form. Informing critical alert values to Pathologist. Supervise and ensure that sample storage and discard policies are followed as per SOP. Checking Quality Control reports and ensure recording of nonconformance in the NC form, documenting with corrective and preventive action after discussing with the Quality Manager or Pathologist. Ensuring the working place is kept organized, neat and clean Following the safety guidelines inside the laboratory. Ensuring the proper waste disposal Checking the stocks regularly, giving the list of required kits and list of required kits and reagents to the stores executive to indent, if it crosses below the re order level. Involve in monthly stock taking with the stocks executive and put an indent after approval of Pathologist. Responsible for getting the training for any new installation of analyzers and then train the staff Arrange and take part in Internal CMEs. Lead the Accession department and ensure the samples are accessions according to the SOP’s. Monitor the Sample rejection and other sample issues and ensuring the quality check is performed at the time of registration of samples.

Requirements: The candidate must be DHA/MOH licensed and have 3-5 years of experience in Medical Laboratory.
