We are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate CNC programmer and machinist with multi-axis MasterCam and RobotMaster experience.

Roles and Responsibilities: The machinist is responsible for the production of machined parts by programming, setting-up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. This includes maintaining quality and safety standards and maintaining equipment and supplies. The machines that will be used to produce parts consists of a CNC Lathe, 2 CNC Mills and a CNC Robot arm. Duties will include, but is not limited to: Planning machining jobs by studying CAD documents, work instructions and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Programming mills and lathes by writing tool-paths for specific geometries. Setting up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting relevant machining equipment. Verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work pieces while adhering to international standards. Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Continuously updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications and material. Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements: Relevant degree/diploma, 5 to 10 years relevant experience, Multi axis MasterCam and RobotMaster experience, Problem solving skills and attention to detail, Ability to understand and work within Skeg’s well-developed systems and processes, High attention to detail with the willingness to investigate and resolve issues speedily, Ability to manage and efficiently plan work, Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), Stable track record with contactable references, Must have own reliable transport
