Supervisor - Sea / Air Freight, Location, Other, East Rand, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time, This fabulous Client in the East Rand is urgently seeking to appoint a Sea / Air Freight Supervisor. The main function of the Position is to effectively supervise, and assist where required, in maintaining records and files of the Shipping and Receiving of international parcels.

Minimum Requirement: Grade 12 or equivalent – additional Certification will be highly advantageous 5 years experience in Import / Export and Air & Road Freight Able to multi-task and perform well under pressure Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail KPA’s, Pull outstanding POD’s for Air / Road Freight Shipments Ensure that all POD’s are in by the 9th of each month, for submission to Management with comment SANBS Account – Arranging and monitoring until Invoiced and monies are recovered, Courier and Quotes – Import & Export Arranging all Air Freight Imports collections Day to day CDS function and Client request Flash operations / queries / billings / export documents by 25th of each month Key Client Reports – SANBS / MICOR / FLASH

Assist with distributions if required Ensure that SOP is followed and Invoices are sent to Clients Import Control System – Filing and Invoices – mainly DHL Imports Follow up on each Quote to secure Sea Freight Requests Air Freight Import & Export To oversee and maximize Branch Air Freight Billings and compile Reports Assist with Supplier Credits – if applicable Keep Costing Sheet updates with current rates Assist with telephone calls in the CSD Department Ensure all Admin and Filing is up to date Liaison between Gateway Office and Head Office Sales Training & Client Visits Assisting Staff with escalations and resolutions
