Job Description Responsibilities: The Senior Accountant is responsible for the overall financial operation and reporting requirements of the company. The hands-on individual will directly complete financial reporting, manage fiscal responsibilities, establish accounting policies and practices to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, as well as, drive budget and forecast activities. This role requires leadership abilities with recommendations made to the Managing Director which translate into increased performance and profitability. The candidate must possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational ability and great communication skills.

Manage all aspects of the day-to-day accounting. Administration of the human resource records. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual GL accounting close process and validate accuracy of results. Create monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages. Assure that all accounting processes such as journal entries, account trial balances, month-end and year-end close are performed accurately and on-time. Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting to the Managing Director. Reconcile bank accounts monthly and manage monthly cash flow. Prepare Internal and External Audit with a third party vendor. Manage cash and communicate funding requirements in anticipation of forecasted needs. Analyze vendor agreements/contracts and record transactions in accordance with appropriate accounting treatment. Review invoices for accuracy

Process Payroll Prepare monthly accounts payable aging reports for payment approval and organize check. Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger daily. Handle all month-end close journal entries and procedures, including insurance allocations, amortization & depreciation, inventory adjustments, and inter company transactions, among others.

Qualification: Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting. Qualified or Inter ACCA, CPA, CIMA, preferred

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Management, preferably in similar organizations. (Real Estate) Minimum 5 years of experience in a Managerial Role.
