Registered nurse - Aged Care – Southern Suburb, Job Type Full-Time

This top Private age care estate seeks an RN that is experienced and trained for a new sub-acute facility in the Southern Suburbs to providing high quality care to patients of all ages.

 Duties include: Ensuring proper handover according to ISBAR ((Identify, Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation) process. Ensure all operational requirements are met through efficient staff allocation. Attend to performance and disciplinary issues and ensure a motivated workforce. Ensure residents receive medication as per most recent scripts. Ensure proper and agreed admission and discharge process followed. Ensure progress reports are sent at agreed times to medical aid. Ensure tray and diet lists are approved every day. Ensure clinical tasks are completed and charted on ECP. Ensure proper procedure is followed in the case of an emergency and/ or death

Requirements: Be Registered with SANC, Nursing Qualification, Experience in Neuro, Stroke, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, and within a sub-acute environment, Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Age care health, Have clean contactable references, Be willing and able to work day or night shift rotations
