Flatbed Truck Driver (Owner Operators - Drivers Canada/US 7-10 Days)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 Yearly for 50 hours per week, Medical Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer, Flatbed
Type of Travel: Regional, National, International
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Communication Equipment Experience: Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Owner-operator business skills
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel overnight
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Critical thinking
