Kitchen Helper
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift
Salary: $10.45 Hourly for 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Virden, Manitoba (4 vacancies )

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Work Setting: Restaurant
Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Portion and wrap foods, Package take-out food, Keep records of the quantities of food used
Kitchen Helping Skills: Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Handle and store cleaning products, Sweep and mop floors
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory
