QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST
Raysonics a Dekra company is looking experienced Quality Control Specialists for the following project:
Sasol Secunda from July 2014 to September 2014 with a possibility of securing a long term contract The following qualification/s and experience is required:
SAIW Welding Inspector Level I or Level II with 5 to 10 years experience in either the petro chemical or power generation industry. Experience in Project Management or Welding Supervision will be an added advantage.
Job duties will include all functions of a qualified SAIW Welding Inspector and coupled with the following minimum responsibilities:
Main link between the relevant service providers and Area involved Ensure that all welding and related activities are performed in accordance with applicable company standards (applicable ASME codes) Maintain register of WPS's and PQR's and maintain validity Welding problem investigation Provide technical advice to supervisory and Inspection staff Ensure that all welding work is inspected by competent and qualified personnel Maintain appropriate records of all welding work Review repair procedure Issuing of NCR Technical review of parent material specification, welded joint properties, locations, quality, accessibility and sequence of welds, compatibility, delivery conditions and storage Knowledge of PWHT requirements Computer literate Traceability
