Civil Procurement Engineer Required Jobs Construction, Details Additional Benefits: TBD, Location: UAE Dubai

Description: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 4 years of UAE experience in procurement department for building construction.

Duties & Responsibilities: Gather all the quantities, BOQ’s, specifications and drawings for materials & subcontract works that are needed for the Project. Receiving & reviewing technical specifications, bill of quantity, drawings, checking them / search for suitable Manufacturers / suppliers or follow the Vendor List. Preparing inquiry documents (technical & commercial) & floating the inquiries to the suitable vendors. Sending RFQ’s (Request for Quotations) to all approved Suppliers & Subcontractors. Receiving the quotations from the vendors, reviewing & evaluating them technically & commercially. Following up the vendors and replying to Sub-Contractor’s clarification to get the quotations on time to avoid any delay. Preparing comparison of the received quotations, negotiating with the vendors to get best price, discount, delivery, payment terms & other commercial conditions. Follow-up on material delivery and documentation requirements. Reviewing and implementing all procurement policies and procedures. Drafting Sub-Contract Agreements / Supply Orders / Letter of Intent as per Project requirements. Preparing Procurement internal process list for Sub-Contractors and supplier’s including the update on weekly basis. Ensures correctness of Subcontract Details with the project requirements as per the specification. Efficient handling of the procurement requirements of projects assigned. Reviewing the variations.
