Mechanical Inspector, Jobs Construction, Details Additional Benefits: TBD, Employment status, Full Time, Salary, 10,000 To 13,000 Monthly (AED), Location: UAE Dubai

Description: JOB DESCRIPTION - Closely monitor site activities and conduct inspections to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to MEP Design Engineers / Project Manager. - To make sure that any activity offered for any inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). - Capable to inspect mechanical works and Materials e.g. HVAC : including ducting, chilled water piping, FCUs installation / testing, air balancing etc, Plumbing : water supply and drainage piping installation, leak test, pressure test, gravity test, pumps installation etc. - Inspection of Testing and commissioning of Mechanical / Electrical (preferably) Installations including different tests before & after energization like (continuity test , polarity test, insulation resistance test, earth electrode resistance test, external and internal earth fault Loop impedance test, RCDS operation tests etc). - Coordination with client, project Managers, contractors, suppliers and authorities. - Traveling to the various sites to complete physical inspections and site surveys. - Prepare and maintain project documents per agreed deliverables like correspondence, minutes of meeting, notes etc. - To make sure that all materials used comply with the approved Material Approval Request (MAR). - To make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report. - Using CAD in design and take part in drafting assignments with design engineers. Keep on learning skills as per modern practices in the relevant field and update other disciplines organization wide. - Support Human Resource Manager in technical interviews while upgrading mechanical engineering department according to new resource requirements as may arise.
