HR Officer, Location, City Centre, Durban City, Advertised By Private, Purpose The HR officer will be responsible to administer day-to-day human resource functions for the business unit, including: Administer full Recruitment and Selection function. Submit annual training reports (WSP and ATR). General training and development administration. Assist payroll department with payroll preparation. Maintain Employee Self Service Leave system. Assist with Performance Management administration. Promote Sound Employee Relations Practices. Maintain employee records and compile HR reports. Ensure awareness and implementation of company policies. Offer coaching service on HR processes and assist with general queries. Promote a positive, professional, motivating and enabling work climate and culture. Brainstorm and coordinate various HR projects
Skills and experience: A relevant degree/diploma or equivalent qualification. A minimum of two years’ experience in HR administration and support. Qualified skills development facilitator (advantageous). Knowledge of Payroll and ESS Systems (advantageous). Good communication skills (written and verbal). Good interpersonal and relationship building skills. Good organisational skills. Coaching skills
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of SA Labour legislation. Good understanding of recruitment and selection as well as training and development practices.
Attitudes: Service oriented with a people centered focus. Self-motivated and able to take initiative. Able to work in a team. Adaptability. Confidentiality. Attention to detai. Deadline driven
