My client’s Medical Mobile Facility is a Rural Outreach program that will initially be delivered in the Free State (Qwa-qwa District) with multipurpose Mobile Medical Units. The Mobile Clinic serves to deliver healthcare at doorsteps by providing clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic care; it will also serve as an instrument to create health awareness amongst population.

My client seeks to appoint an experienced full-time ULTRA SONOGRAPHER to be part of a medical team of a Mobile Medical Service Unit (MMSU) for the screening of the community, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Requirements: Degree in Radiography/ Ultrasonography. 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience on GE Ultrasound Equipment with three transducers– linear/vascular, cardiac and abdominal. Registered with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Must meet the guidelines issued by Radiation Control and such other relevant professional bodies. Should not have been removed for default on the grounds of professional or personal misconduct and should not have a case filed in court of law. Registered with Professional Indemnity. Computer literacy is a must. Knowledge of GE Logiq series digital equipment, its management and maintenance. Should be capable of working independently as well as in a medical team. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
