Finance Officer / Manager, Location, City Centre, Cape Town, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time

Our client who are a very well-known legal firm are urgently looking for an Finance Manager to join their team in their offices based in Cape Town CBD. They are offering a salary in the range of R 25,000 to R 35,000 per month (Negotiable) plus benefits and bonuses .

Skills: Broad knowledge of finance principles and practices. Knowledge of the legal industry would be beneficial. Ability to interact with all levels of management. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good PC skills. Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.

Duties: Manages accounting systems within a specific functional area which may include general ledger maintenance, A/P and A/R processing, cash disbursements and inventory and fixed asset costing/tracking. Performs economic research work and prepares analysis of subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investment and financial and expense performance comparisons. May require more direct supervision for new duties or project type tasks. May directly supervise accounting staff. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting or equivalent. 3+ years Finance experience. 2+ years management experience.
