Job description
We\'re looking for a superstar PR account manager join our small specialist team working on clients in the business and lifestyle sectors.
The position will entail you implementing the communication strategies for a variety of our business, lifestyle and events clients, as well as coordinating and implementing tactical campaigns that align with the agreed client outcomes.
You will be tasked with writing press material for both business and consumer media; developing and managing relationships with key media across a broad spectrum of industries; securing coverage in suitable press including digital media; handling aspects of client service, including developing meeting agendas and contact reports; and attending client functions and hosting media where relevant.
You will work from our offices in Rondebosch and be part of a small team of passionate PR professionals.
The ideal candidate will have three+ years\' experience in a similar function, a relevant tertiary qualification, excellent writing skills, proven media contacts, and will be fully MS Office literate.
The candidate will be a motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills, have the ability to analyse and interpret information and communicate it in a clear and engaging manner, and will be deadline-driven with the ability to handle stress and multitask.
